The SmartyKat Loco Motion Electronic Cat Toy gets cats moving with the exciting motion of flying feathers. With the push of a button, the Loco Motion springs into action as the wand flips the feather toy back and forth. You control the action with an adjustable speed knob that lets you program the toy for up to two hours of continuous play. This eco-friendly toy is made with 50% recycled post-consumer plastic and uses natural undyed feathers.

Push the ON/OFF button to start the movement. Pushing the ON button one time will result in continual movement.
Push the TIMER button to control duration of play. The toy can be programed for 15 minutes up to 2 hours of continuous play. To set the timer, push the TIMER button once for 15 minutes, twice for 30 minutes, etc., up to 8 times for 2 hours. To reset TIMER, press the ON/OFF button.
Turn the SPEED CONTROL dial clockwise to increase wand speed, counterclockwise to decrease speed.

Cats are creatures of habit with short attention spans—that’s why brief, scheduled play sessions with your feline are best. Just two or more 10 to 15-minute sessions of interactive play a day is paw-fect and can also help preserve the battery life in your cat’s favorite toy. The expected battery life in this toy is 15 hours, so remember to turn it off when it’s not being used!

Install (3) AA batteries (not included) in battery box of base unit. Use thumbnail to remove battery box cover. Push in batteries, ensuring correct polarity of batteries +/- in box.
Open the 4 stabilizer bars at the bottom of the base unit. To open, gently lift stabilizer bars over the rubber skid feet. While looking at the bottom of the base unit, rotate bars counterclockwise and lock into place.
Connect motorized column to base unit. Be sure to turn column clockwise to lock into place.
Slide plastic wand with feather attachment onto column wire. Check to be sure it is securely attached.
